I’m a freelance writer based in Washington, D.C., with over a decade of experience in journalism.
I write features about entertainment, fashion, and culture for publications like the New York Times Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vanity Fair, among other titles. I also operate a delightful little newsletter, The Scumbler, where I publish original essays and interviews with interesting creative people.
Alongside my journalism career, I work as a copywriter and communications consultant for select brands and corporate clients.
I grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Yale with a degree in English. In the rare moments when I’m not hammering away at my keyboard like Kermit at his typewriter, I’m probably watching a movie, going on a rambling walk around D.C., or drawing cartoons, which sometimes appear on Instagram and in the pages of The Scumbler.
